RESTORING THE SACRED WHOLENESS

Oneness in the Way of Yeshua the Christ and the Feminine Wisdom of Sophia
The word oneness has become one of the most alluring and at times most misusedconcepts in contemporary spirituality. In the secular world, it is often reduced to a vague idea of unity without distinction, an emotional blur in which all differences dissolve and everyone is “accepted” without the necessary transformation of the heart. This version of oneness can, paradoxically, be a breeding ground for confusion, compromise and the masking of wounds.
In the true path of healing, we do not simply cosy up to the shadow self, making peace with its distortions as though they were part of our eternal essence. Instead, we invite the blazing light of divine love to pour upon it, purifying, refining and transforming it into something whole. This is the way of Yeshua the Christ, whose mission was not merely to comfort humanity but to redeem and restore it into the original image of God and in this original image there is no absence of the feminine. Without the feminine, without Sophia, the divine Wisdom, and without Mother Earth, the living creation that sustains us there is no true oneness.
Oneness Beyond Secular Abstraction
The secular interpretation of oneness often begins with noble intentions: an end to separation, a celebration of diversity, a unifying of humanity but without a moral compass and spiritual truth at its centre, it devolves into a relativism that refuses to discern between light and darkness. Oneness then becomes a codeword for “accept everything as it is,” including corruption, injustice and evil.
The way of Christ offers a very different picture. Yeshua’s prayer in John 17 is not for a bland sameness but for a union grounded in holiness:
“That they all may be one; as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You, that they also may be one in Us.”
It is a oneness forged through relationship, rooted in truth and held in the transformative fire of God’s love. Here, the shadow is not denied nor embraced as it stands. It is transfigured and in thefullness of divine image, this oneness reflects both masculine and feminine, heaven and earth, spirit and body.
The Pre-Dualistic Vision of Yeshua and Mary
In the pre-Roman era, before Christianity was filtered through imperial agendas, the teachings of Yeshua and Mary Magdalene held an undivided vision of the sacred union between masculine and feminine. Yeshua embodied the Logos, the living Word of God and Mary Magdalene embodied the living Sophia, the divine Wisdom.
Sophia is no mere poetic image; she is the feminine face of God’s wisdom, spoken of in the Hebrew Scriptures:
“She is a breath of the power of God, a pure emanation of the glory of the Almighty.” (Wisdom of Solomon 7:25)
When the imperial church severed the feminine from the centre of the faith, it fractured the fullness of the divine image. A Christ without Sophia is a Christ whose fullness has been obscured. Oneness without the feminine is not oneness at all. It is a distorted unity, a patriarchal shadow of the truth.
Mary and Yeshua, together, modelled the path of restored union, the harmony of Logos and Sophia, a blueprint for the restoration of humanity and creation.
Mother Earth and Indigenous Knowing
To understand oneness in its fullness, we must also hear the cry of the land. The Indigenous peoples of Australia, and of many nations, have long held the earth as Mother, not as an idol, but as the living, breathing creation entrusted to human care. To be one with God while abusing the earth is an absurdity.
In Indigenous knowing, the health of the land is inseparable from the health of the people. The rivers, mountains and creatures are not resources to be consumed but relatives to be honoured. This resonates deeply with the biblical vision in which creation itself longs for redemption (Romans 8:19-21).
Thus, our oneness must include right relationship with Mother Earth not as a goddess replacing God, but as the living creation in whom we see the handiwork of both Father and Mother, the masculine Logos and the feminine Sophia.
The Spiritual War and the Need for True Discernment
We live in a time of unprecedented spiritual warfare, where confusion is sown like weeds among the wheat. The enemy’s greatest weapon is often the counterfeit; a version of truth so close to the real thing that it fools even the well-intentioned. The secular oneness movement often serves this role, offering unity without repentance, acceptance without discernment, light without fire.
Yeshua did not say, “I am a way.” He said:
“I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6)
This is not a statement of exclusion for exclusion’s sake; it is a declaration of reality. The way to oneness with God is through the doorway of the Christ, the Logos united with Sophia, who alone can transform the human heart and restore creation. Without Him, we cannot navigate the deception of the age with the discernment we need.
Why Australia Must Acknowledge Christ as King
Australia stands at a spiritual crossroads. Though increasingly secularised in practice, its legal and moral foundations are rooted in Christian principles especially the recognition of human rights as God-given, not state-granted. Our Constitution, our systems of law, and our cultural heritage have been shaped by the belief that every person bears the image of God and is therefore worthy of dignity and liberty.
If we accept Yeshua the Christ as our King and Saviour, we are not merely making a personal confession; we are affirming the highest ideal upon which our common life rests…that God, not government, is the ultimate source of justice, truth and freedom.
In the same way that Indigenous lore calls us to live in right relationship with Mother Earth, the gospel calls us to live in right relationship with the Creator through the Christ. Together, these truths form the complete circle: Father, Son, Mother Earth, and Sophia, the divine wisdom in restored harmony.
Only in this fullness can Australia be a nation that honours its Indigenous roots, its Christian heritage and its sacred calling to uphold the dignity of all.
For when we are one as Yeshua, the Father, the Spirit, Sophia, and Mother Earth are one, then creation will be healed, justice will flow like a river and love will be the law of the land.
